Meet the Owner

Hi friends!

My name is Miranda Guzman and I am the proud owner of Tipsy Chicks Mobile Bartending! I am thrilled to be serving Montana, my amazing home state, and getting to celebrate your most special days alongside you.

I am a proud mom to my beautiful daughter, Wesleigh Jo, whom I had two days after Christmas in 2021. Wesleigh has been my whole world since the day I found out about her. I am also a proud big sister, daughter and friend. My family has been in Montana for decades and I love getting to call this my home!

I have been in the service industry between serving in restaurants to bartending bars since I was a teenager. I have a passion for a fast-paced environment and love doing everything in my power to make people happy and create unforgettable experiences for them. My first priority is communication, advocation for your vision and delivering an experience that is unforgettable.

I have been blessed with amazing mentors and colleagues in the hospitality industry already and cannot wait to see where this journey takes me. I look forward to making a friend out of each and every one of you!

 FAQs

  • We do not! We have a consultation process and in-depth questionnaire that gives us enough information to help you plan how much alcohol to buy. If you are in the Flathead Valley, we will suggest suppliers that offer discounts for weddings/large groups. We offer pickup and delivery service once your order is paid for so you don’t have to worry about it!

    ***We do not profit off of the sale of alcohol, and any alcohol that isn’t used is yours to keep or return to the supplier!

  • We travel all over the state of Montana! If it is 2.5 hours out of the Flathead Valley (one-way, 5 hours round trip), we do require one-night of lodging (one room) the night of the event if we are scheduled to work later than 8:00 PM MST, for the safety of our staff. At this time, we do not charge for gas or mileage.

  • We like to accommodate the entirety of your event. Our typical hours are 12:00 PM-11:00 PM with set-up starting at 12:00 PM, and bar open by 2:30 PM, take-down/last call at 10:45 PM and shut down at 11:00 PM. This is adjustable depending on the event/contract. If we are asked to stay later on the day of the event, we are happy to accommodate that, however we do charge $200.00 per additional hour.

  • Each event has a requirement of either two bartenders or one bartender and a bar-back. If the guest size exceeds 125, we may require extra hands such as two bartenders and a barback. Price will fluctuate and staffing will change based on our best judgement and our agreement, plus how many bars you have set up at your event! This is to set your day and guests up for success! We want to ensure we keep up with the flow of your event, your schedule and keep your guests happy!

  • Every contract and invoice go through my platform, HoneyBook. You receive all communications through your email for billing and contracts. We require a 30% non-refundable deposit to book your date and event. The remaining balance is due 10 calendar days prior to your event. We accept Paypal, Visa, MC, AMEX, and Venmo!

  • This question comes up a ton! Have you ever paid the tab for 200 people at a bar + gratuity? By hiring Tipsy, we assist you in budgeting your alcohol, setting up a custom menu and you get to keep all of the leftover alcohol after the event! When hiring a bar, you will anticipate spending $5,000-$15,000 depending on size including gratuity. We save you literal thousands with our structure and expertise! Bar-staffing an event is essential - most event venues in Montana require a licensed bartending business with certified bartenders and insurance for events that intend on having alcohol. Not only are you getting our insurance, but it allows your most treasured guests, family and friends to enjoy your day alongside you without having to worry about the background noise. My staff is trained in de-escalation, professionalism, and keeping your guests at ease and entertained with you! Having a third party there to look over your event, advocate for you and pace your guests to stay safe, responsible and happy takes away any extra hassle from you and other vendors you hired in other areas. We work alongside your other vendors to provide you the best service possible and bring your vision to life!
